We handle the dealbreakers quietly

Some dealbreakers are better handled before the first message.

Him

So… I actually never want kids.

Her

Oh.

You shouldn't have to start a conversation to discover the dealbreaker.

Dealmaker Dating keeps your non-negotiables private — and quietly clears obvious mismatches before anyone sends a single message.

That quiet “Oh.” shouldn't be a surprise

Kids? Politics? Drinking? Vaccines? The big stuff usually comes up somewhere between the third message and the third date — after you've already invested time, energy, and hope. Either you publish your most personal non-negotiables for strangers to screenshot and argue about, or you keep them to yourself and risk that quiet “Oh.” Both options cost you. One costs your privacy; the other costs your time.

What this is

A dating app with a quiet filter that runs before introductions — and before “hey.” If two people hold hard non-negotiables that directly conflict, they're simply never shown to one another. No one is told why. No one is told at all.

What this isn't

It isn't a promise of compatibility, and it doesn't replace getting to know someone. Chemistry, character, and timing are still yours to discover. We only remove the known hard stops so the conversation doesn't start with a dealbreaker.

How it works

01

Tell us, privately

During signup you mark the things that genuinely won't work for you — as hard dealbreakers, preferences, or no-concern. These answers are never shown on your profile. Ever.

02

We filter silently

Before anyone appears in your view, we check for conflicting hard dealbreakers in both directions. No banners, no labels, no explanations to the other person.

03

You start closer

Everyone you meet has already cleared your known hard stops — and you've cleared theirs. The dealbreakers are handled before the first message, so the conversation starts on kinder ground.

The things people actually care about

Children. Smoking. Faith. Politics. Vaccination. Marriage. Lifestyle. Whatever your answer, the other side is treated with exactly the same respect. No position is the "right" one here — conflicting answers simply never meet.

Every pair above is two equally valid answers. We take no side — we just keep the mismatch from costing you weeks.

Private means private

Your answers never appear on your profile, are never shown to a match, and are never used to judge you. Because filtering works in both directions, no one ever learns which dealbreaker kept you apart — or even that one did. Kindness is built into the silence.

Why not just put it on your profile?

You could. Many people do. But a public list of dealbreakers reads as a list of grievances — it invites debate, attracts the wrong attention, and tells the world things it was never owed. Private filtering gives you the same protection without the exposure, and lets your profile be about who you are instead of what you refuse.

What it will cost

We plan to charge $5 a month, cancel anytime. No boosts, no paywalled likes, no ads sold against your private answers. A small subscription is what lets us keep the filtering honest and the community serious.

Waitlist members are never charged now — we'll simply ask below whether $5 a month sounds fair to you.
